“The New Gambia” Votes

On Saturday December 4, 2021, eligible Gambian voters will head to the polls to elect their President. A Presidential term in the Republic of The Gambia is 5 years. This year, 6 candidates are competing for office.

Our friends at the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) have been working hard in the days, weeks and months leading up to the big day.

Electoral Services International, Inc. (ESI) not only had the pleasure of assisting the IEC with their biometric voter registration (BVR) project earlier this year, but also supplied the IEC with their customized electoral materials for the Presidential Election.

The drums and marbles, the indelible ink, the security seals, and more products have been strategically distributed across the country in advance of the vote. The election observer individual and grouped missions (both domestic and international) have arrived. The stage is set.

ESI would like to extend its best wishes to the loyal IEC (and The Gambia as a whole) for a successful, peaceful, and safe polling day. May democracy be the biggest news of the day.
