On Friday June 28, 2024, over 2.2 million registered voters will be eligible to vote in the Parliamentary Election in Mongolia.
The diaspora voted in advance from June 20 to June 23, 2024.
At stake in this election are all 126 seats in the State Great Hural. Several constitutional reforms were approved by the State Great Hural in 2023, one of which was to increase the size of the legislature from 76 seats to 126 seats.
Mongolia’s General Election Commission (GEC) reported that 259 observers from 40 countries and 21 international organizations will observe and monitor their parliamentary elections.
