Albania To The Polls

On May 14, 2023, registered voters in all 61 Albanian municipalities will head to the polls to vote in local elections.

The elections are being closely monitored by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

Since 2021, Albania’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has strengthened its voting process efficiency by implementing biometrics in its voter registration process as well as election day identification.

For the “big day”, Electoral Services International Inc. (ESI) freshly produced ballot boxes and ballot box lids for the CEC. The boxes and lids were highly customized in multiple sizes and closures.

The entire ESI team wishes the CEC (and Albania as a whole) a safe and peaceful democratic event.
