The Fijian Elections Office (FEO) and Electoral Services International Inc. (ESI) have been partners for over a dozen years. As a matter of fact, our team was working with the FEO in Fiji when Code Inc. became ESI Inc. back in the year 2012. Fast-forward 12+ years later, with leadership, management and key staff member changes on both teams, we are continually building upon that initial biometric voter registration (BVR) project relationship.
For the most part, over the last decade, ESI has been providing the FEO with offsite support. So, no matter where our teams are connecting from, we can effectively communicate, solve and assist whenever the need arises. Our efforts are always collaborative.
Over the years, there have also been onsite projects and in-person team meetings in the South Pacific. Needless to say, there is no substitute for face-to-face interaction.
The FEO continues to be a very independent electoral management body. The IT team and their support staff are highly skilled and very responsible. The active cooperation between our technical teams is strong and their independent hard work has a lot to do with this.
ESI recently completed a full upgrade update on the FEO’s electronic biometric voter registration software. This was both an onsite and offsite exercise.
ESI wishes to highlight the FEO for their loyalty and support. We hope and trust that our business relationship will continue to blossom in this challenging and complex environment well into the future.
