Electoral Services International Inc. (ESI) has been welcomed back to Honiara, Solomon Islands to once again assist the Solomon Islands Electoral Commission (SIEC) in updating their voters list by biometrically registering all eligible voters ahead of Solomon Islands 2024 General Election.
The project timeline was developed through months of planning and collaboration between ESI and the SIEC. Speaking of collaboration, the two teams have now been working together for a decade.
The exercise’s hardware (loaded with ESI’s biometric voter registration software) and consumables arrived in-country on time and in good condition.
ESI’s onsite field team (currently on the ground) will remain in Honiara for the duration of the project to help meet and surpass the SIEC’s expectations in terms of the project’s milestones, deliverables, and overall exercise results.
Offsite support was provided before ESI’s onsite presence began, will continue throughout the mission, and will remain in place even after our field team departs the Solomons later this year.
The SIEC remains one of ESI’s most loyal customers. ESI’s appreciation for the SIEC is immense.
