Electoral Services International, Inc. (ESI) is back in the Solomon Islands capital city of Honiara for a Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) project that will see the Solomon Islands Electoral Commission (SIEC) update their BVR system.
ESI is honored to have been invited back to the Sols for a third time to work closely with the SIEC once again. Our first BVR project in the South Pacific gem took place in 2014 and the second took place in 2018.
In 2022, ESI will have a dedicated two-person team in the nation’s capital for the duration of the exercise that will see both the BVR software and hardware upgraded. This exercise has been in the planning stages since the year 2020.
As always, ESI will transfer the necessary knowledge and leave behind full documentation after the mission is complete.
ESI is thankful for the loyalty and hospitality that the SIEC has continued to demonstrate to our offsite and onsite teams.
